Supporting new moms as they transition into motherhood

HI! I’M EMILY

I am an early motherhood coach who takes a hands on approach to supporting new moms as they transition into early motherhood.

We’ve been sold fulfillment, overwhelming love and pure joy.  Yet for many of us, we feel a loss of self, loss of freedom and resentment towards our partner during this life altering transition.  It becomes very clear that our experience of motherhood feels dramatically different than what we expected.

Does this sound like your experience?  It was mine.  And I promise you, you don’t have to accept this as your new reality.  There are things we can do to find more light, joy and self love in our days as a mom and an individual.  Let me help you create a motherhood you love.

Want to learn how?  Let’s talk.

I bet your thinking, is this something I need? Well, you tell me.

Does even one of those statements resonate? You’re in the right place.

Are you worried you’re the only one who feels the way you do about motherhood?

Do you feel isolated mentally, or perhaps physically and all alone in this new journey?

Do you feel disappointed in how your motherhood experience is playing out?

Are you feeling overwhelmed with this new role and the responsibility that comes along with it?

Do you wish you had someone to talk to about how hard these moments are; about where the joy and fulfillment is?

ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Emily and I’m a mom of 2 - a confident powerhouse daughter and a charming, loving son.

I’ve been through postpartum twice before and had two very different experiences. I know what it feels like to feel betrayed by my own thoughts and expectations.  I also know what it feels like to take back my power and heal some wounds I self inflicted as a martyr in my own world.

I had both a vaginal birth and an emergency C-Section with many complications.

I’ve researched sleep consultants and baby sleep, developmental milestones and what to expect in the first year at nauseam.

I have navigated (and honestly, still am navigating) unforeseen health scares with my family and the increased burden that it puts on us as the keeper of information, routine, structure and safety.

While I would never claim to be an expert or to know your story, I’d be honored to hold you and guide you towards an experience that feels honoring and joyful as you navigate this transformative life stage.

I am also the host of the Project: Mom Podcast, which has given me an incredible opportunity to hear and learn more from women who have been able to create a life they love. If you want to hear more about my journey and take inspiration from these incredible women, be sure to check out my podcast.
